Why is water depth important? Each of the in-pool products is designed for a specific water depth. If used in a depth outside of the recommended range, the product will not work as intended - potentially floating if in depths deeper than recommended.

How do I properly measure the water depth on my ledge?First, make sure your pool water is filled to its capacity. Then take a ruler/tape measure and place the tape’s end on the surface of the pool’s ledge. The height the water hits the tape measure is your water depth. If you’re still not sure, ask your pool builder for assistance or contact us.

The product I am interested in doesn’t work for my water depth. What do I do?You potentially could still purchase the product, but it may need to be paired with a Riser. Risers are available for the Signature Chaise, Chaise Deep, and Signature Chair to accommodate for various water depths. Please contact us for more information.

What do I do with my Ledge products if temperatures are going to drop below freezing or won’t be used for an extended period of time (winter months)? We recommend draining your in-pool Ledge product(s) completely and remove them from the pool. Store all in-pool Ledge products inside or safely away from strong winds and inclement weather. Cover product(s) with an industrial-grade plastic bag or equivalent. For an additional fee you can call us to schedule this to be done for you.

Will in-pool Ledge products fade? All in-pool products are designed to be in and around water. They are developed to withstand the chemicals and UV rays of the harsh pool environment. Ledge products are rated UV16, meaning they can withstand up to 16,000 hours of direct, overhead sunlight. After 16,000 hours of direct sunlight, the colors could begin to fade. Some custom colors may experience fading prematurely and are not warrantied for in-pool use.

What happens to the water inside in-pool Ledge products? How often should I drain the water?Ledge in-pool products are rated UV16, so UV rays won’t penetrate to the inside. Algae and water organisms can’t live without oxygen and light, so as long as the water put into the piece was properly balanced and chlorinated, the water wills tay clean. To prevent unforeseen issues, we recommend you drain the furniture and refill it with new, balanced and chlorinated water once a pool season.
